The journal seeks to publish original, high-quality research that contributes to contemporary debates in the Humanities and Social Sciences. It particularly welcomes theoretically informed, empirically grounded and interdisciplinary studies that advance scholarly understanding of society, culture, governance and human development.

The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process. Each submission is assessed by subject experts for originality, methodological quality, analytical depth and contribution to existing scholarship.
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision after considering the reviewers' recommendations.
